Cancer touches the lives of millions, and so do stories of strength, resilience, and hope.
The Celebration of Life 5K Walk and Run brings together survivors, co-survivors, families, and supporters for a meaningful journey of remembrance, healing, and unity. Created by Unconditionally Her and Amazing Grace Event Management, in partnership with the Women Survivors Alliance, this event supports cancer survivorship through proceeds donated to the Jimmy V Foundation.
In June 2024, we launched our first-ever event and raised $4,000. In 2025, we grew even stronger, raising over $5,500. Together, in just two years, we’ve contributed more than $9,500 to support survivorship resources for those impacted by cancer.
This year’s event, held in Raleigh and virtually, was a testament to what happens when a community comes together — walking, running, remembering, and lifting each other up. From powerful Survivor Stories to the moving Luminary Lane display, every moment honored life and inspired hope.

2025 Celebration of Life 5K
This year was a powerful tribute to cancer survivors, those currently in the fight, and the loved ones we remember. We are proud to share that this year’s event raised more than $5,500 in support of the Jimmy V Foundation and its cancer survivorship programs.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our participants, donors, and volunteers, we have now raised over $9,500 in just our first two years. These funds help provide critical resources and support for individuals impacted by cancer.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s event so impactful. Details for the 2026 race will be announced soon. We look forward to continuing this journey together in strength, hope, and unity.

Luminary Lane
At this year’s Celebration of Life 5K, we honored the heart and soul of our mission, celebrating survivorship and remembering those we’ve lost, with the debut of Luminary Lane. This special addition to the event lined the race path with glowing luminaries, each one representing a tribute to a loved one, a survivor, or someone still bravely fighting. Thanks to the generous support of our community, these lights transformed the course into a path of reflection, remembrance, and inspiration. Participants walked and ran past dozens of heartfelt messages, reminding us all of the power of love, memory, and unity in the fight against cancer. Luminary Lane truly lit up the race in the most meaningful way. Thank you to everyone who donated and shared a name, a story, or a message of hope. Your light made a difference.

Women Survivors Alliance, a 501c3 non-profit whose purpose is to establish a network where women affected by cancer can find their voice, improve their quality of life, and embrace their journey. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to an organization supporting all cancer survivors on behalf of the WSA.
